Caring For and Maintaining Your Allseating Chair
Allseating Upholstery Care
For fabric, regular professional cleaning is recommended to keep colors fresh and bright. To spot clean stains, clean with water-based cleaning agents, foam or pure water-free solvents.
For vinyl, most common household stains can be easily removed using warm soapy water and several clear water rinses. Moderate scrubbing with a medium bristle brush will help loosen soiling material from the depressions of embossed surfaces. For more stubborn stains, use one of the many commercially available mild detergents. Check the product label to ensure that it is recommended for vinyl.
Leather may be cleaned using mild soap and war water, or a commercial leather cleaning product.
For mesh, do not use petroleum distillate based cleaners; other household cleaners are adequate.
For knit, spot clean using the foam only from a water-based cleaning agent such as a mild detergent or non-solvent upholstery shampoo. Apply foam with a soft rag or brush in a circular motion.
Allseating Chair Metal Parts
Mechanisms and seat sliders must be lubricated once a year using common lubricant such as WD40.
PVC and Plastic Parts
Clean all PVC and plastic parts such as arms, bases and casters with a damp cloth and a cleaner such as Armoral.
