Established in 1948, Bestar is a third generation family business involved in the design, manufacturing & distribution of a wide range of ready-toassemble furniture & furniture components. The company, listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange since 1986, carries out its operations through its manufacturing facilities in Lac-Megantic, Quebec, Canada. Working with our local supplier, North America's largest manufacturer of particle board and melamine, enables us to offer competitive prices and short lead times. By using 100% recycled wood fiber particle board, it helps us do our share in protecting the environment. In addition, we use recycled, dye-free cardboard boxes and constantly strive to reduce waste throughout our factory. Our 330,000 square foot manufacturing facility is located just North of the United States border. An assortment of leading edge technology and high capacity manufacturing infrastructures enables us to offer performance and flexible solutions, from one piece to container loads.
